Ariana Akbari

Hello! Hallo! Hola! Ciao! !سلام

My name is Ariana Akbari, and I am so happy to welcome you to my personal website.
(For my "artchitecture" studio shop, click here ❀)

I am a multilingual and multicultural contemporary arts writer, critic, and advisor, an occasional project manager in construction and real estate, an "eco-designer," and a strategic developer of accessible, scalable, creative social entrepreneurship practices in the nonprofit and political advocacy spaces (especially in the climate / environment arenas).

I studied the History of Art & Architecture and the Comparative Study of Religion at Harvard University and had the tremendous opportunity to study "decolonized" coursework at the University of London: School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) as well as architectural modeling at the University of Houston Hines School of Architecture.

I founded the Climate Justice Texas organizations, where we "keep the climate cool" by starting the conversation on the changing climate in East Texas and beyond. I also have used my fine arts and architectural background to work on project management for construction projects for commercial and residential real estate ventures, as well as for arts criticism and advisory.

In my spare time, I write poetry, spells. creative nonfiction, and create my own art-as-architecture designs (that blend art, ecology, ritual, spirituality, imperialism, etc...).

I am always happy to hear from potential friend and collaborators - Send me a message at arianaakbariart@gmail.com or connect via my YouTube, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
